We are seeking a senior software engineer with a primary focus on Perl language. In this role you will build new, and maintain existing web systems.
This is a remote position.
This position pays by the hour.
This is a contract position.
About The Job
You will be working on a greenfield web-based business SaaS application that manages the logistics of a printing business.
Initially you will be finishing up what already has been started. There is a lot to learn, but we don’t expect you to be perfect from day one.
Once the initial product launched, you’ll be working through bug reports and feature requests that arrive from customers testing the system.
The system is targeting Perl 5.30.0.

You are able to work independently, with minimal supervision and support. You are an effective communicator. You are result-oriented and data-driven. Extensive experience working with Modern Perl. You have at least heard of most modules from the Task::Kensho list and used some of them recently.
